“The Cancer Related Fatigue program
got me walking every day, no matter
how sick I felt. It made a big difference
in reducing fatigue and establishing
daily exercise as a key component of
sustained self-care.”

Over half of cancer patients are in pain and three-quarters have debilitating
fatigue. Cancer-related fatigue is a sense of physical, emotional, and cognitive
(thinking) tiredness which does not go away after rest. It can have a negative
impact on work, relationships, mood, daily activities, and overall quality of life.
The Cancer-Related Fatigue program provides a variety of coping techniques and
includes information and planning around exercise and nutrition, which are two
key components in combating cancer-related fatigue.
