HOW TO USE THIS GUIDE
This Guide is a resource to help you navigate our many programs and services
and to ensure you get the most out of your Wellspring experience.
1. Programs in this Guide are categorized according to the types of support
they provide.
Peer Support Programs
It helps to have someone to talk with who understands
and can listen. Our highly-trained Peer Support
Where Volunteers will share their knowledge, experiences and
compassion coping strategies with you and provide information
and strength about programs and services that will help based on
your needs, interests, time and energy levels. Peer
endure Support is always a great place to start your Wellspring
experience.
Emotional Wellness Support Programs
Support groups provide a safe and confidential place to
share personal feelings and concerns while learning from
others in similar situations. Emotional support programs
utilize various strategies, formats and tools to help you
learn to manage your emotional well-being.
Financial and Workplace Programs
Living with cancer brings many practical challenges, such
as financial concerns, childcare issues and returning to
the workforce following an extended medical leave.
Wellspring’s array of economic and workplace programs
provide valuable solutions for the many every day,
real-life challenges that arise.
Chronic and Oasis (Advanced Cancer)
Programs
Wellspring provides various programs specifically
designed to address the unique concerns of individuals
living with chronic, advanced or metastatic cancers.
