Chronic cancers are treatable but not curable. Treatment focuses on symptom
management and the slowing of disease progression, but for people with chronic
cancer, maximizing quality of life becomes a core goal. Wellspring’s Chronic
Cancer Support Program Stream includes a support group, specialized coaching,
and peer support, all of which provide emotional support and opportunities to
share and learn techniques for coping with prolonged treatment and making end
of life decisions. For people whose cancer has spread or is advanced, Wellspring
provides the Oasis suite of programs tailored to these specific needs.
