SUPPORT GROUP

ADOPT THIS PROGRAM: $35,000

This program provides a community for people who have lost a loved one to
cancer. With the guidance of a professional counsellor, participants share stories,
honour the memory of their loved one, express grief and emotions, and learn how
to accept and cope with the impact of their loss. This program has been shown to
increase people’s ability to cope with loss, to improve their sleep, and to reduce
their anxiety, depression, and isolation.

HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

• Provide a full year of the Bereavement Support Group for people who have
lost their spouse, with a gift of $17,000
• Provide 25 sessions of the Bereavement Support Group for families with a
gift of $10,000
