Nutrition often suffers due to cancer and its treatments, which may affect taste,
smell, appetite, an the ability to absorb nutrients. Some cancer patients experience
malnutrition, changes in weight, weakness, fatigue, cognitive decline, and a variety
of other debilitating symptoms. Wellspring’s nutritional support and cooking
program, Nourish, has been shown to reduce the side effects of cancer and its
treatments, while helping people to manage their weight, improve their strength,
and enhance their overall health and wellbeing. The program provides on-site
cooking lessons, healthy recipes, and online webinars on a wide range of topics.
